Adult and Junior Group Lessons

I have an appreciation for “everyone’s” tennis journey. It’s a humbling sport and a difficult one to learn.

—Roger Cochrane, Head Coach

While 1-to-1 lessons are getting back on track, group lessons are still on hold. Given how quickly things can change, we would like to take steps to be ready-to-go at a moment’s notice.  Next week we will begin accepting RESERVATIONS for adult and junior group lessons to be held in June as soon as restrictions are lifted.

If permitted, group lessons will start on Wednesday, June 2.  Junior lessons will run from 4 pm-6 pm and adult lessons will run from 6 pm to 8 pm on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Group size will be limited to 6 juniors and 8 adults per class providing an excellent student-to-coach ratio that promotes focused learning.  The cost of lessons will be $60 plus tax for 4 1-hour lessons (1 lesson per week for 4 weeks).  We recognize things may not start as planned due to the pandemic, so we will prorate the cost based on the actual start date and the number of lessons you will receive.

We also have some exciting news for our adult learners.  On Fridays, we are introducing “Active Tennis” and “Doubles Strategy”.  Active Tennis is about hitting a lot of tennis balls, getting a great workout and some stroke tuning all at the same time.  And doubles strategy is what it says… a focus on learning the finer points of playing doubles.  On Wednesdays, adult group lessons will be more traditional, focused on learning strokes at the novice, intermediate and more advanced levels.  We hope you will find these offerings valuable to help improve your game.

Keep an eye on the “Group Lessons” pages on our website (appearing soon) to reserve your spot for these programs.  We will take payment later, once we know when things will start.
