Wee Weekly

Like more competitive play? Join us for the Wee Weekly tournament every Saturday morning. This is a small, friendly tournament and is open to all. It is a great way to improve your game and meet other competitive players. The Wee Weekly alternates between doubles one week and singles the next. Matches are a normal set (but may be modified due to weather, draw size, etc). 3 courts are available and open at 8:30 am for warm-up. Players must be onsite and register by 9 am and matches start shortly after. 

Rankings are maintained throughout the year. This is a great way to improve your game and meet other competitive players. Come check it out!

Sunday Social

A much-loved and time-honoured club tradition. Join us for the Sunday Social from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Players of all skill levels are welcome. Lots of quick and fun matches are promised with a variety of partners. A great way for new members to meet. We will be looking for volunteers each week to run this event. St. George’s runs on the energy and enthusiasm of its volunteers. A great season is guaranteed when everyone is pitching in. If you have time, please consider helping out. There will be a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board at the club.

Fees: $2.00/person to cover balls

Format: Drop in mixed doubles.

Please note that in the past, participants used to bring food and tea was provided as part of this event's social component. However, due to Covid precautions, this practice has been restricted. We will continue to monitor the situation and make adjustments if feasible. We look forward to the return of this tradition in the future. For now, we kindly request that no food be brought to this event.

Tennis Tuesdays

Join us for mixed doubles on Tuesday night, a terrific way for club members to meet and play. Open to players of all skill levels. No partner is required. Just drop in, and we’ll assign teams. This event is similar to the Sunday Social but slightly more competitive.

Fees $2.00/person to cover balls
