Social Distancing
What does physical distancing mean? This means making changes in your everyday routines to minimize close contact with others, including:
• avoiding non-essential gatherings—even the tennis courts
• avoiding traditional greetings, such as a handshake or a hug
• keeping a distance of at least two arms lengths (approximately 2 metres) from others, as much as possible

Limited your time on the grounds
Here’s how you can practise physical distancing:
• To arrive AT your time of play and LEAVE the grounds immediately afterwards—no loitering.
• greet with a wave instead of a handshake or a hug
• stay home as much as possible

Contact Tracing
How does the club know who I’ve been in contact with?
• The government requires clubs to track court users and time of play
• Skedda is not only our booking courts tool but also our contact tracing system.
• enter ALL names in the court booking system for those playing and update when there is a change in plan.
• use technology to keep in touch with friends and club members (another form of social distancing

Avoid contact with surfaces
Remember to:
• avoid touching surfaces people touch often
• wash your hands often for at least 20 seconds

Avoid contact with other courts and players
Remember to:
• abide by 6 feet social distancing regulations with members on other courts
• avoid touching balls from other groups—use your racket instead
• stay on your own court
• Do not enter the court until players have exited

Avoid physical contact during gameplay
Remember to:
• avoid touching others: fist-bump, handshake or high-five.
• avoid touching your face
• cough or sneeze into the bend of your arm

Self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19, including: cough, fever, and difficulty breathing, and if concerned:
• separate yourself from others as soon as you have symptoms

immediately
